P2PN Brochure

What we offer?

Why Parent education is important:
Parent education is often the missing component to child-centered programming. Parents are their children’s first teachers; they are the people most able to impact their children’s choices and they hold a valuable place in ensuring what their children are learning is reinforced at home.

Who are the P2PN affiliates:
P2PN welcomes organizations, schools and individuals who are interested in developing and enhancing parent education efforts on all issues impacting the health, safety and well-being of children from pre-school through college age.

The P2PN believes that incorporating parents into child programming is critical to achieving success; if an organization is servicing children and are not including parent education in the equation, they are not serving the children to the best of their ability.

When an affiliate partners with P2PN around parent education, the P2PN is able to assist with: programming needs assessment; program development, promotion, execution and follow up; evaluation; and building next steps.

What the P2PN offers affiliates:
The P2PN is staffed by professionals who have managed all levels of parent education on issues impacting the health, safety and well-being of children pre-school through college since 2002.

In addition to parent education, we assist communities in establishing their own parenting organizations, we provide an infrastructure to support their educational efforts, and guide them when addressing crisis situations.

Through the strategic alliances that we have forged with statewide and Northeastern Ohio organizations dedicated to servicing our youth, the P2PN is building parent programming into more and more child-centered initiatives.
