How the P2PN works:
The P2PN’s operating philosophy is simple: If we all share the risks, responsibilities and resources; then we all share the rewards.

The P2PN:

• Connects organizations, schools and individuals with the similar goal of educating parents on youth risk behaviors;
• Helps avoid duplicating efforts: administrative, volunteers, programming, and seeking funds;
• Facilitates a shared learning atmosphere;
• Expands the reach and connection with affiliates and their target audiences;
• Fosters collaboration and relationship building;
• Assembles professional contacts & liaisons; and
• Provides crisis intervention consulting.

By operating as a service clearinghouse, the P2PN provides its affiliates with:

• Web support;
• Email blast communication system;
• Grant writing;
• Speakers bureau;
• Educational resources;
• Programming templates;
• Promotional engine; and
• Trend resources and detailed facts

What the P2PN expects from its affiliates:

• Share ideas, programming, and resources with other affiliates;
• Welcome, embrace and collaborate with other communities and P2PN; and
• Participate in agreed common purpose (i.e. 2008/2009 Underage Drinking Awareness & Prevention, 2007/2008 Mental Health Awareness Campaign)
