Dear Prevention Partners:

Drug-Free Action Alliance is pleased to inform you that we have teamed with the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) to educate parents about their legal responsibility and the health risks associated with underage drinking through our Parents Who Host, Lose the Most: Don’t be a party to teenage drinking campaign.  Through this partnership, a packet including a cover letter, Parent Tips, Fact Sheet and Sample Article for a Newsletter has been sent to 832 high school athletic directors in Ohio .  As the experts in your community, you may be getting calls from your local schools.  This also provides an opportunity to make your expertise better known.  To assist you in your efforts, you can obtain the Parents Who Host, Lose the Most: Don’t be a party to teenage drinking Fact Card in bulk quantity, free of charge, to pass out at upcoming events, such as: team meetings, parent meetings and homecoming.

To request Fact Cards, please contact Emilie at 614.540.9985 or EBrown@DrugFreeActionAlliance.org.  For questions or information about implementing the campaign in your community, contact me at 614.540.9985 or DLongmeier@DrugFreeActionAlliance.org.  Additional campaign information and materials are available at http://www.drugfreeactionalliance.org/pwh.php.

We appreciate your dedication to the prevention of underage drinking and look forward to continued collaboration!
